Halo 5 Guardians: Strategies for More of Those Kills!

Halo 5 Guardian's multiplayer was a massive hit amongst many people, Halo fans and gamers alike love it. So do I. The game itself is brilliant... but we aren't here today to talk about that. No... lets talk strategy!

When I first started playing Halo 5 Guardian's multiplayer, I started on playing Arena, Slayer. I was a new person to the world of Halo, so I went to the game mode that seemed easiest. I still play it the most today, and I recommend this game mode to all new halo gamers as well. The experienced Halo gamers... well... choose whatever you want. You're experienced, which is the key word here.

Blue against Reds. Reds and Blues. How would you kill the others? Well, here's some strategies I use. Lets have a look!

1. Plasma Grenade and Shoot:

If you have a Plasma grenade in your inventory (the blue grenades that explode with a strong energy) and you have come across one of your opponents, then throw one at them. While you wait for the grenade to explode, shoot the enemy at least 3 - 5 times, (yes, that low!) or until the grenade goes off. I guarantee you that the grenade will destroy and kill them, almost ALL the time.

2. Jetpack Backwards and Destroy:

If, on your radar, you see an enemy closing in on you behind, and they are shooting to kill you, as well as getting progressively closer, jump up and use your jetpack. Though, instead of using it to boost forward, boost backwards. This will confuse the enemy for long enough for you to get some good shots in and kill them. Most likely using this tactic you will receive the in-battle award of 'Reversal'. After you jetpack backwards you can use the Plasma Grenade and Shoot tactic, or just plain, straight up, assassinate them from behind if you are close and quick enough. Don't be too confident, though, because if they realise what you have done quickly enough, you'll need to defend and kill them quickly. In that case, practice makes perfect!

3. Energy Sword or Magnum Gun

This tactic is just more of an indicator of what weapons are really good. These two are only a fraction of the many epic others, and those 'others' can be for another day, if you would want. That's off the point though.

The Energy Sword is a one - shot kill and is amazing for up - close. They'll go flying at one mere swing of this sword. And you even have 10 goes before the energy charge runs out (each kill takes 10% of the energy away). But, if you can't get close enough, switch weapons immediately. You'll be killed easily if you try and get close when you obviously cannot, or just aren't.

Now, the Magnum. The gun so underestimated by many, appears in your gun inventory all the time, anywhere, when you first spawn. It's surprisingly strong, and can kill others in about 6 or 7 easy shots on target. You really need to use this more if they aren't looking. Especially if they arent looking, and you are 'looking' for an easy kill.

Well... good luck on Halo 5 Guardians, and I hope I helped.
